How the laser works
AZ Laser RX uses a non-invasive light-pulse method that delivers ultra-fast pulses of light to shatter pigment particles in microbladed brows, eyeliner, or lip blush. Those microscopic pigment fragments are then carried away by the body's lymphatic system. This process gradually lightens or removes unwanted permanent makeup without surgical excision, relying on natural clearance rather than chemical dissolution.
Because the treatment breaks pigment into smaller particles, visible fading can occur over weeks as the body clears them. Individual results depend on pigment age, color, depth, and the area's healing response. A consultation is required to assess the brow area and determine a plan; we begin planning treatments for areas starting at 4 sq inches during that visit.
What shapes treatment outcomes
Several factors shape how quickly and completely pigment fades: the original ink color and density, how deep the pigment sits in the skin, and how long ago the PMU was applied. Previous pigment removal attempts or darker inks can slow clearance. The body's lymphatic efficiency also matters; people clear pigment at different rates, so expectations must be individualized.
UV exposure during healing can affect outcomes, which is why fall and winter months — specifically Jan, Feb, Oct, and Nov — are our busiest for brow and lip pigment removal. Scottsdale's desert sun makes timing important: clients often schedule outside peak UV hours, and many prefer early-morning or late-afternoon appointments to fit golf, hiking, or commuting routines.
Preparing and aftercare considerations
A consultation is required before treatment so we can inspect the area, record pigment characteristics, and create a removal plan. Pricing for a standard session is $125 and appointments are 30 minutes. We plan treatments starting at 4 sq inches, so bring any previous tattoo or PMU records and arrive ready to discuss your history and goals.
After a session, the body’s lymphatic system gradually removes pigment fragments; clients must protect the treated area from sun while healing. Because Scottsdale has strong year-round sun and a summer monsoon season, schedule around outdoor plans when possible. If you golf, hike, or commute via Loop 101, consider early or late appointments to reduce sun exposure during the recovery window.
